private seller for sale in Baltimore, MD
Florida Police bike used with a department near Orland.
I've owned it straight from retirement at the PD since 03/2018.
The bike had 10000 miles when retired and now has around 25000.
I have worked for several HD dealers and therefore do my own work, tire changes, brakes, oil, etc.
The bike has a pair of Paul Yaffee 10 ape hangers, and a new clutch cable (early summer 2020).
The bike currently has the original seat and its suspension with a basketweave pattern as well as a matching mustang passenger seat.
The tour pack now on the bike is HD but from an electra glide classic, and mounted on the police tour pak mount.
It is black in color.
I have the saddle bag luggage bags to go with as well as soft front lower fairings, a left side saddlebag guard storage and a windshield storage bag.
While a police bike, before selling, it was used to train new motorpatrol officers.
The city's FB page shows this bike being used.
It was laid down at some point - low speeds - and thus has a scuff on the fairing, and fender.
At somepoint the windshield got deeply scratched and wouldnt pass MD inspection so I cut it down and painted it black.
It matches well.
This doesnt have a radio as I never liked the distraction.
I have maintained oil changes several times per year as I do ride in colder months.
It has failrly good tread and brakes.
There is a new coil and spark plug wires fresh this fall.
It will also come with a motolink 4-Pin OBD Adapter for easy diagnostics.
If you know bikes at all, you know buying a police bike is work.
Not everything you want for it just fits or is available.
It is as some real bikers would call a rat bike as the pieces and parts are from a conglomerate of others.
It's not for everyone, or their cup of tea.
But its a good bike and fairly fast.
NADA:
Values Suggested Base Price of $8,263 and $10,846 average retail with the options.
