Vintage Electro-Voice Inc. of Buchanan, Michigan 2-way Speaker Pair, Model# TS8-2. Sorry my photos are not good, my camera is getting old. I have two pair of these to sell. The price listed is for one pair. Both pair have less than perfect cabinets, but the drivers are all very good and clean, and sound great. No pushed-in dust caps. The crossovers all seem to be good. All speaker terminals are good. All speaker badges are good. These speakers are equipt with 1/4" x 20 inserts on the back, sides and bottom for mounting purposes. The inserts are behind little black hole plugs. The speakers measure: 14-1/4"wide x 9"deep x 23-3/4"tall. The drivers are an 8" woofer with a treated cloth or linen surround. No foam surround to worry about. The tweeter looks to be about a 1" size dome tweeter, but I did not research to see if EV used a 1", 7/8", or 3/4" voice-coil. The speakers are rated 8-Ohm impedance. ******* The following description is for the pair shown in the photos. If these sell, I will update the listing with new photos and description to keep things honest. The serial numbers of this pair are: 101588XXXX & 101588XXXX. The front panels where the speakers are mounted are in very good and clean condition. Both grills are in good physical condition, but one needs a good cleaning with a garden hose or whatever. The gentlemen who had these, drilled two small holes in the tops, one left, one right for mounting. The cabinets are covered with black vinyl which is easy to nick, and shows mars easily. The worst is the 12th or last photo showing the bottom. I guess these could be painted or rubbed down with black stain. Lots of photos, please review them.
