Eliassen group is seeking a Senior Charles River Senior Developer for a 2 year contract assignment with an enterprise financial services firm.
Work can be 100% remote, c2c and w2 options are available, and interview will take place virtually.
Overview:
The Global Trading Technology team is looking for a hands-on Senior Developer to be a part of a Charles River Order Management team.
This team supports 4 global trading desks and builds applications and integrations to enable our Traders to achieve Best Execution for our clients effectively and efficiently.
You will be part of a high-performing group of engineers setting, mentoring and evolving the technology direction of our next-generation n-tier, native cloud enabled products, as well as integrating with off-the-shelf vendor products like Charles River.
Core Capabilities & Attributes:
Demonstrable passion for technology (eg personal projects, open-source involvement) while using their problem solving capabilities to deliver solutions utilizing a top end engineering approach Craftsman-like approach to building software; takes pride in engineering excellence and instils these values in others Experience with Order Management and Charles River products Experience in front office software development with an Asset Manager, Hedge Fund or Investment Bank A solid understanding of tradable financial instruments (securities, derivatives) and capital markets Experience building containerized applications and deploying to public or private clouds, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or similar providers.
Expert knowledge in one or more programming language(s) - C#/Python/Java Familiarity with a variety of programming styles (eg OO, functional) and in-depth knowledge of design patterns Strong Test-Driven Development and desire to write simple, adaptive and iterative code.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
