Software Engineer

Responsibilities:
Work with Technology & Product team members to define and refine requirements in an Agile environment.
Design approaches and writes the software to implement new features and improve existing ones.
Own the definition of new capabilities and coordinate their implementation with other team members.
Experience:
3
of experience as a software engineer with the ability to decompose complex problems and create simple solutions; 3
years of experience with Java & Spring including knowledge of JVM tuning to get the most from less; 3
years of SQL database experience including query tuning & stored procedures.
Skills:
Strong communication and collaboration skills with an ability to work with team members in an agile scrum environment; Self-motivation to work independently when needed while also participating within a high performing team; Significant REST API design chops; Ability to work on backend Java codebases and libraries; Comfort working within a cloud-based environment, preferably AWS; Comfort working with Git, Maven; Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related field is required.
Alternatively, 10
years of software development experience.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
