Job Description:
The Compliance & Risk Management Manager coordinates college-wide efforts to ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations, manages loss prevention and control programs, and oversees the College Enterprise Risk Management program.
Key areas include, but are not limited to business continuity, regulatory compliance, contract management, insurance coverage analysis, claims assessment and reporting, and policy review and development.
This position provides responsive, solutions-focused, and collaborative support services to faculty, staff, and students at the College.
This position works to develop a culture based on collaboration and proactive approaches in order to reduce risk and adopt best practices, while supporting the College's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Work with insurance brokers and the local consortium of colleges and universities to identify and secure adequate insurance coverage at an appropriate cost, and work with Procurement Operations Manager to prepare insurance bid specifications in connection with periodic RFP processes.
Manage annual insurance renewal, gathering information as requested by the insurance broker and providing reports to the Board's Audit Committee.
Serve as liaison with external counsel and internal departments to manage loss events, coordinate the claims filing process (including Educators Legal Liability (ELL) claims, general liability claims, automobile claims, and athletic injury claims), and work with external legal counsel and claims adjustors to resolve claims.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
