DevOps DeveloperBaltimore, MD (Remote for now)6 Month Contract to Hire$28-32/hour DOE The Real-Time Security Services Infrastructure team at one of our largest Fortune 100 Energy clients, headquartered in Baltimore, MD, is actively seeking an Jr DevOps developer to support their automation efforts for two large enterprise-wide projects at the utility-level.
These projects will focus on remote support of real-time commutations equipment, control room display boards and operator consoles, backups for virtual and physical systems, technical compliance documentation, and change coordination across Midwest and Mid-Atlantic data centers and control rooms.
As Jr.
DevOps Developer you will be supporting the automation efforts for data compliance and portable applications.
This includes developing new scripting for automations and critical compliance processes to build out continued scripts.
While working under guidance from Senior Developers and Admins on designs and implementations, the ideal candidate will be able to work independently, and be eager to learn new technologies in a Real-Time environment.

Qualifications:
0-3 yrs.
of experience with scripting in PowerShell or Bash for task automation and configuration management.
Experience with either Python or Perl.
Experience with Windows or Unix/Linux.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, etc.
or equivalent experience.
Knowledge or experience working with automation tools for the purpose of automating data compliance.
Knowledge or experience with Ansible and/or Puppet.
Willingness to learn the above technologies and get exposure to hands-on experience from a tenured Real-Time technical team.
Responsibilities:
Provide support to automate data compliance work with goal of getting all portable applications on one platform.
Create new PowerShell/Bash scripts in addition to managing current scripts already written.
Building, configuring & supporting the integration of a full stack of IT systems/resources that include but are not limited to:
Active Directory, Security Information & Event Monitoring system (SIEM), end-point protection, network access control (NAC), and IP address managementAssisting and coordinating the integration of the above systems with the OSI system.
Support the replacement of Puppet to Ansible.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
