RealStreet currently has a great opportunity for a Senior Specialty Metals Cost Estimator in Baltimore, MD.
This individual will create estimates of cost and labor requirements and contract administration for our custom architectural and ornamental metals projects.

Job Responsibilities The Senior Specialty Metals Cost Estimator will prepare accurate material take-offs for ornamental & architectural metalwork and associated scopes from client's architectural and/or interior design drawings, specifications, and other contract documents.
Additional responsibilities of the Senior Estimator:
Gather required cost information as related to the purchasing, fabrication, finishing, and installation functions of the projects(s) being priced to include:
Materials Subcontracted Operations Freight Equipment Rentals Per Diem Expenses Generate accurate labor cost estimates for the project(s) being priced to include:
Fabrication Finishing Installation Functions Estimated time to complete from receipt of order/contract/deposit Manage multiple deadlines Assemble complete bids for submittal to our clients based upon the above described operations to include:
Detailed scope of work Pricing breakdowns Clarifications Terms & conditions Exclusions Perform detailed review and explanation of prepared bids with the Chief Estimator, General Manager, and/or Project Managers Prepare written proposals, drawings and other documents as needed for presentation to clients Review scope and subcontract terms with clients and our in-house administrative staff members prior to contract execution Review updated and revised contracts to identify and solicit clients for new work in addition to developing new work with potential clients Other attributes to perform this job effectively include:
Ability to properly track potential cost related changes to drawings, documents, and work scope Good Oral and written communication and presentation skills Job Requirements:
Requirements of the position include:
Associates degree in Construction Management, Bachelors' degree preferred Three (3)
years in Construction Management/Estimating Three (3)
years estimating custom ornamental & architectural metalwork or similar discipline Ability to read construction plans Technical skills, including proficiency with:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
