Financial Coordinator
Position
Summary:
To address the complex social and health problems of uninsured and underinsured patients in the ambulatory clinics and assists in the coordination of their appointments and correspondence.
Overall functions include telephone utilization, patient eligibility determination (geographic and financial), program orientation, cash collection, physician and staff communication, and database management.
Serves as the liaison between other 'The Access Partnership' (TAP) sites, TAP Leadership Team, Ambulatory Services, and the Billing Department.
Offers friendly, courteous assistance to every customer to ensure that he/she has a positive, professional experience.
Education/Work
Experience:
Work requires a high school level of educational development and two years related experience.
Shift:
Full Time, Day Shift (40 hours) 8:
30 am - 5:
00 pm Non-Exempt Location:
