Lead/Supervisory IT Specialist

In order to qualify for the GS-14, you must have IT related experience demonstrated by paid or unpaid experience obtained in either the private or public sector, and/or completion of specific, intensive training that demonstrates ability to perform the following competencies:

Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations AND To qualify for the Lead IT Specialist, you must have:
Have one (1) year of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, typically gained in the IT field or through performing IT related tasks such as:
planning IT projects involving the development and implementation of informatics and infrastructure systems and solutions; advising on the adoption of new technologies to enhance IT systems and services, integrating IT and informatics projects within the overall program IT requirements; and developing and implementing IT systems, infrastructure, informatics, and cloud technologies. To qualify for the Supervisory IT Specialist GS-2210-14, you must:
Have one (1) year of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, typically gained in the IT field or through performing IT related tasks such as:
leading a team of employees in the information technology field, planning IT projects involving the development and implementation of informatics and infrastructure systems and solutions; advising on the adoption of new technologies to enhance IT systems and services, integrating IT and informatics projects within the overall program IT requirements; and developing and implementing IT systems, infrastructure, informatics, and cloud technologies. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
