Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist, GS-0346-13

You will serve as Chief of the Logistics Training Section. The section provides a single point of entry for all external customers, to include SFLC Product Lines and Shared Service Divisions, and remote location personnel such as Base Comptrollers, Asset Material Managers (AMM) and field units. You will be responsible for the management of a comprehensive logistics training program at the SFLC and its field and supported units as well as the development and implementation of AMM training and technical oversight of Remote Locations and Remote Stock Points.Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include:
- Supervising, assigning and reviewing the work of subordinate staff members and employees. - Preparing of logistics training issues and point papers in order to respond to questions from and present briefings to various government entities. - Identifying training, training aids, functions and task to be performed to streamline the processes and improve logistics support and accountability. - Developing, monitoring, and evaluating progress and effectiveness of logistics programs and tasks. - Formulating, developing, and implementing policies, methods and procedures by which AMM training requirements and related projects will be pursued. Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the Federal service. Examples of specialized experience includes:
reviewing logistics operations, policies, procedures and/or processes to ensure program effectiveness and to monitor compliance of programs supported; evaluating, through field inspections and surveys, the performance of agency logistics programs in order to determine system and procedural deficiencies and develop improvements, and/or conducting studies, evaluations, and analyses of the various Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) program elements, such as supply support, manpower, maintenance and reliability planning, transportation, storage, technical data management and configuration management, to ensure they are aligned with the mission of the SFLC and the Coast Guard for all surface assets. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. National Service Experience (i.e., volunteer experience):

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
