Program Manager Deaf Services

Job Description POSITION OVERVIEW Responsible for program and interpreter coordination of PEP's Deaf Unity services.
Provide programs for deaf clients with chronic mental illnesses as well as the overall management, evaluation, and budget of these programs.
Monitor quality services and ensure the application to Deaf Unity clients.
Hire, supervise and train Deaf Unity staff.
Expand existing services as well as seek out grant and other funding opportunities.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES - Hire, supervise, and train staff members, perform evaluations and initiate disciplinary action as required.
- Review and coordinate level of services provided to clients and community for quantity and quality (ie, staff availability, progress notes, Individual Rehabilitation Plans, etc.
) - Ensure that documentation contained in client records meets accreditation requirements by appropriate mental health organizations.
- Conduct staff and client training in American Sign Language, as required.
- Develop program guidelines/program activities material/documentation as needed.
- Monitor house placements, discharges, and residential site files - Monitor quality of services provided at residential sites.
- Monitor Perform crisis intervention and assistance as necessary.
- Conduct regularly scheduled staff meetings to address concerns.
- Collect, document and assess Quality Assurance numbers.
- Monitor program funding budgets and billing activities.
- Coordinate/collaborate with other agencies that work with deaf populations - Communicate with other Agency departments in regards to clients concerns or needs; schedule and/or attend inter-departmental meetings as required.
- Monitor all regulatory and other reporting requirements.
EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE AND JOB REQUIREMENTS Education:
BA in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling (Master's is preferred) Two years of experience working in a supervisory position.
Must have the ability to work with the deaf population and have knowledge of the deaf culture.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
