Regional Business Development Sales ManagerAre you a proactive Sales professional who enjoys opening new accounts? Are you results-oriented and have solid consultative sales skills? If so, this is the role for you!You'll own the Sales function for your regional territory and partner with Sales support to ensure that prospects become clients.
You'll be responsible for an individual annual revenue target that contributes to the overall annual Sales Team's target.
Kimco has a solid footprint in the janitorial services market and yet there's a lot of Regional Accounts business to be won:
REITs; property management firms; healthcare facilities; educational institutions; commercial A & B; and warehousing enterprises.
Generating opportunities with new clients is what this role is all about.
Forecasting sales activity, making sure clients are happy and referenceable, and effectively prospecting via multiple methods will make that happen.
Responsibilities:
Effectively plan field work based on areas where maximum revenue growth can be achieved.
Network with Kimco RVPs and field management, existing customers, associations, etc.
to develop Regional Accounts opportunities.
Effectively prospect independently as well as collaborate with customers, contacts, and Regional Business Development Sales Managers.
Use true consulting sales skills on each and every sales call.
Track sales activity:
If it's not in Salesforce, it didn't happen.
Advanced understanding multi-layered buying process in larger, distributed accounts.
Establish National Accounts target list; coordinate with National Business Development Sales Managers to target those accounts.
Conduct monthly review of Sales Performance for trends by service categories and vertical channels.
Utilize data, strategic conversations, and field work to understand sales performance.
Determine areas for improvement and develop action plans to realize sales growth opportunities.
Conduct regular business reviews.
Present forecasts for upcoming closed business and overall sales execution status to Sales Executive team.
Work with Sales support and VP of Sales to develop more effective sales collateral.
As a key member of the Sales Team, recommend improvements to overall Sales and Marketing strategy and execution planning.
40% - 50% travel required.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
