MedStar Union Memorial Hospital (MUMH) is a not-for-profit, 223-bed acute care teaching hospital with a strong emphasis on cardiac care, orthopaedics and sports medicine.

Long known as a specialty center for rehabilitation and orthopaedics.
MedStar Good Samaritan has expanded its range of health care services to better serve those in their community.
Today, just some of the anchor services include cancer care, diabetes care, emergency medicine, geriatrics, hyperbaric medicine and wound healing, inpatient rehabilitation, interventional radiology, vascular care, and wellness.
In keeping with this commitment to excellence and advanced care, as a Case Management professional, you will have the exciting opportunity to be a part of the MedStar Health 10-hospital system.
The MedStar family is committed to advancing health through medical education, research, subsidized health services, charity care as well as a host of community health programs.
The Director of Case Management will be responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and directing the Utilization, Case Management, and Discharge Planning Programs for the 2 hospital sites.
This new leader will monitor discharge planning services and counseling to patients and their families and consultation to medical staff regarding patient management.
The successful candidate will bring a high level of professionalism, exceptional communication, and organizational skills along with a minimum of 3-years of healthcare management experience.
This new leader will have deep knowledge of regulatory standards and laws and possess a Nursing Degree along with a Masters Degree in a health care related field.
Knowledge of program development and evaluation is required.
