Amazon Web Service's (AWS) Security Team is seeking a Threat Intelligence manager.
This role is responsible for the management and continuous improvement of the Threat Intelligence program and demands both strategic and tactical ownership.
You will roll your sleeves up and dig in as well.
We are expanding our current threat intelligence capabilities and need someone to help grow the team, leverage data sources to ensure there is sufficient data for analysis, provide quantitative feedback on data quality and quantity, identify and document the tools, techniques, and procedures used by attackers, derive a complete picture of an attacker by analyzing motivations, organizations and networks.
Team members quickly and discretely deploy capabilities or personnel to clearly identify, expertly assess, reliably report, and actively thwart emergent and current threats to our customers, our infrastructure and our business.
Key Responsibilities- Grow, manage, develop, and mentor staff in intelligence analysis.
- Drive automation and ensure proper ownership and management of all intelligence solutions.
- Influence the acquisition and usage of all intelligence data sources.
- Develop profiles of adversaries to identify tactics, techniques, and procedures.
- Develop and report intelligence analysis findings to internal teams, senior leadership, and external partners.
- Identify opportunities to enhance detection systems and security controls to counter threats.
- Produce metrics to measure our effectiveness and drive decisions.
- Foster relationships within Amazon and external to Amazon.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
