CNC Machinist

Our client has specialized in creating custom metal products over the past 50 years. They are currently seeking a CNC Machinist with machine operator experience, specifically in wire forming.
The CNC Machinist's duties and responsibilities include the following:
Programming, operating and modifications during all phases of production to produce precision parts
Refining stamping dies with a mill
Setting up stamping dies on a press
Monitoring quality by taking measurements, detecting malfunctions, troubleshooting processes, adjusting and reprogramming controls while adhering to quality assurance procedures
Integrate work with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Purchasing to ensure a smooth flow of quality products through the factory
3-5 years experience recommended in the following:
Machine operator experience, particularly in wire forming
Experience in robot set-up and programming
Experience with pressing and dieing, as well as machining capability experience
Strong ability to read blueprints
Ability to work 2nd shift or weekends
Ability to apply knowledge of mechanics, mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures
Able to write and optimize CNC programs to create parts on multi-axis machining center
Demonstrates proficiency with vertical CNC-- preferably VF3 HAAS
Proficiency with CAM software- MasterCam preferred
Experience with G Code
Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or 5S a plus
Exposure to ISO a plus
Demonstrated ability to heat treat and work with springs a plus

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
