What You Will Do:
Under general supervision, fills medication orders, maintains appropriate stock of pharmaceutical supplies, delivers medications to, and returns medications from, nursing units, and assists the Lead Technician as assigned. The Technician II will complete all of the principal responsibilities and tasks of the pharmacy technician, but will additionally serve as an educational resource to the Technician I. The Technician II will serve as a role model for the Technician I and support their professional growth. The Technician II will participate in pharmacy projects as assigned.
What You Need to Be Successful:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
Maryland BOP registration required.
Two years UMMC pharmacy tech experience required. Must meet competencies as specified in the Technician II qualifications grid.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
