Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems, and information technology related responsibilities including design, development, and analysis of computer systems or programs based on and related to user or system design specifications; applying systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users to determine hardware, software, or system functional specifications Create and manage the plan for moving technical solutions to final client hand-off. Own the communication and execution of solution hand-over to client services, service delivery, technology and other team members at designated milestones. Assemble and coordinate the internal and external teams to gain consensus on deliverables from each team. Collaboratively adapt existing and develop new project plans, processes and communication standards for the operations teams. Assist with the development of reports, and the loading and configuration of demonstration data and systems. Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises and devise contingency plans. Assist with Test code, review, and recommend changes to technology stakeholders. Serve as the product owner in Agile/SCRUM development process; write user stories, groom the backlog, and lead sprint planning. Anticipate problems and complications, and formulate solutions so as not to impede the progress of the project. Manage each release through the launch/deployment process. Ensure all business systems, IT systems, partner platforms and networks are in place to support the offering. And that the technical design accurately represents the requirements. Be extremely data driven and drive/track program execution and delivery excellence. Work with the engineering teams, product owners, architects and developers to ensure that the product is being delivered with quality on time. Prioritize work across teams based on business priorities and identify interlocks and dependencies. Experience in planning detailed stories and acceptance criteria.
Qualifications:
7 - 10 years of total software/IT engineering experience. Out of this at least 4
technical program management experience preferably with external customer facing web based software products. Have the depth and width of decision making maturity. Be able to gain trust & respect of an engineering and dependent teams and stakeholders to deliver results. Ability to manage and influence team members without authority and work with people within local and remote locations spread across time zones. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and effectively communicate across all levels of management. Familiarity with agile/SCRUM development methodologies and software development lifecycle principles. Requires a complete understanding of the system development life cycle. Requires familiarity with application development support software and hardware platforms. Familiar with application development software and hardware platforms - Able to lead design and specification walkthroughs. MS Office Proficiency. Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills. Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered an emerging authority.
