Assistant Professor

The Johns Hopkins Institute for Education Policy was constituted on August 1, 2015. Our mission includes identifying research on interventions that show significant positive effects on equity and excellence, and to channel it into policy circles. We are seeking a highly qualified analyst whose work will undergird the Institute's activities.
The Research Analyst will support the Institute for Education Policy by:
Creating literature reviews and accompanying shor-form summaries of research on specific subjects, such as the effects of pre-K or community schools (60%)
Preparing research summaries for the leadership team and for our online audience in advance of the Institute's public events (20%)
Writing commentary on important research for the Institute's website (10%)
Attending meetings at which the Director and Deputy Director present research findings for policy-makers (10%)

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
