Dewberry is currently seeking a Summer Intern-Landscape Architect for 2017 to join our site/civil department in our Baltimore, MD office to work on a variety of projects for clients within the commercial and government sector. Typical projects involve site/civil design for residential, commercial and industrial site development, and capital improvement projects.
Site/civil development including grading design Prepare detailed landscape and hardscape plans Prepare layout studies, yield studies, and parking studies for commercial/residential Prepare development plans to support Rezoning and/or Special Exception applications Working on design teams in all aspects of a given project to develop detailed design documents for construction plans. May also conduct code research, write specifications, and coordinate permitting
Degree in Landscape Architecture with a 3.0 GPA or higher. Previous internship experience. Strong freehand illustration and rendering skills Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft office is required. Experience with Photoshop, InDesign, Sketchup, Illustrator, GIS/ArcView and Power Point. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment. Portfolio or work samples will be required if considered for an interview. At this time, Dewberry will not sponsor a new applicant for work authorization. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
