Job Description:
Dewberry has an immediate need for a Highway Design Engineer for their Baltimore or Frederick ? office. ? Responsibilities include task management and design production of design-bid-build as well as design-build transportation projects in accordance with good engineering practice; calculating quantity estimates, developing horizontal and vertical alignments, cross-section development and developing 3D digital terrain models, drainage design, and designing traffic control plans. Candidate must be able to coordinate and schedule work to meet project goals on time and budget. ? ?
This position requires a minimum of 5-10 years experience in geometric highway design on Maryland State Highway Administration projects ? along with a ? Maryland PE. ? ? Required Skills ? include being capable of working on multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced team oriented environment. ? Experience on transportation design-build projects is a plus. Candidate must be proficient in MicroStation and Geopak and/or InRoads. ? ? ? ? At this time, Dewberry will not sponsor a new applicant for work authorization.
