SUMMARY
Under Armour needs a product expert to take the lead in our headwear business. The Product Line Manager of Licensed Headwear will be given a rare opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing brand and be the driver in a growing category. Passion, desire and integrity are traits we look for in our teammates. You will play a key role in the product line management process and can make an instant impact to the business.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Accountability and responsibility for building Under Armour Headwear.
Product Strategy: Create product line vision and strategy with attention to accessory strategy and long-term vision
Drive the product creation process with design, development, sourcing and planning
Identify and propose new market opportunities
Market analysis: Evaluate current business, competitive landscape and industry trends to identify new opportunities for growth
Develop merchandising strategy with additional detail regarding product segments, features and benefits at various price points
Drive communication with the sourcing and materials teams with ultimate accountability for margin targets and deliverables
Create and manage seasonal merchandising plans and manage projects through the development process.
Provide insight, influence and leadership to:
Define market requirements (features and functions)
Manage the development process by translating user testing, sales and customer support feedback into feature/function requirements
Communicate product vision for ongoing releases and new product opportunities.
Partner with Sales, Marketing in order to bring product to market
Manage and monitor product demand, forecast and inventory levels.
Ensure that approved calendars and timelines are met.
Mentor/Manage and grow your team.
Be the expert on the core consumer: where they shop, how they shop, what they shop for and how they perceive it first hand.
Define and cultivate our growth in the multiple channels.
Know the competition at every price point.
Manage and maintain professional league relationships (Primary focus on Major League Baseball, but not limited to).

QUALIFICATIONS
Product marketing and management experience
Experience in professional sports league licensed business model
Experience developing sales tools and executing final product mix
Experience developing pricing strategies and an assortment mix that supports the Brand positioning
Experience managing a team.
Strong presentation skills

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree
3-5 years of related work experience
Knowledge of professional sports licensed product
COMPUTER SKILLS
Product line management systems experience
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
