The Cloud DevOps Engineer shall be responsible for the technology infrastructure of Stansberry and Associates. Responsibilities include designing, architecting, implementing and maintaining the S&A technology ecosystem on Amazon (AWS) and ensure that it is both highly available and scalable.

Responsibilities:
Design and architect highly available and scalable systems
Automate administration tasks including configuration management, patching, and backups utilizing linux containers.
Administer build processes and code deployments via scripted source control builds with git, Jenkins, and Bamboo.
Design and configure monitoring solutions and perform analysis of operations through Splunk, NewRelic, and CloudWatch.
Configure Elastic Load Balancers, security groups, and host based intrusion detection systems
Troubleshoot & triage problem reports and resolve or escalate as necessary
Provide excellent customer service in the resolution of support tickets
Participate in a 24x7 off-hours support rotation (PagerDuty service)
Requirements:

years experience with Linux system administration
o 5
Experience managing highly available (99.9%) public facing, front end web servers/web sites, including configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting.
o 4
years hands on experience with AWS in large scale deployments.
o 4
years' experience with web server configuration and management.
o 4
years' experience shell scripting and/or other programming to accomplish various tasks.
o 3
years MySQL Database configuration and db management experience.
o 1
years' experience with hands on management and configuration of load balancers or similar experience.
o Firm understanding and experience with IPv4 and IPv6 networking concepts and principles.
o Experience with CDNs and distributed message queues. .
o Firm grasp of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, AJAX, Java, JavaScript, PHP
o Familiarity with various monitoring tools and experience dealing with a web site that has high SLA objectives
o Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline; or equivalent work experience

Additional Desired Skills
:
o Experience working in agile teams using Scrum, Kanban or similar.
o Experience with ANT or Maven Java build tool.
o General experience with Java development and managing systems running Java based applications.
o DNS configuration experience/management and firm understanding of how DNS functions including Anycast.
o Content Management System (CMS) configuration and management experience (Wordpress preferred).
o SQL experience and troubleshooting. Ideally be able to write SQL statements to check integrity of databases.
o Contributions to Open Source Software
o Experience with CoreOS and Docker.
o Subscription Billing experience a major plus (Zuora)
o Experience in implementing a Marketing Cloud tool a major plus (Adobe, Marketo, Eloqua, etc.)
o Working experience with Jira Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
