Lockheed Martin delivers services and technical leadership for mission-critical federal government, public sector, and private sector. This position is in the Enterprise Solutions and Services organization supporting our customer, the Social Security Administration.
Provides support in design/coding/testing/validation efforts for systems that support the Social Security Admininstration (SSA).
Performs activities on DB2 data and WebSpere applications and maintain applications for SSA under the directions of the Technical Lead and Project Management.
Directs and aids others in new technologies.
The position is located in Baltimore, on the west side of town near 695, Rout 26, and Security Blvd. We are responsible for providing a full range of IT integration services and supporting a multi-platform computing environment, including: information systems modernization initiatives, software engineering, project management, infrastructure services, data warehousing, database administration, research, planning, security, federal enterprise architecture initiatives, research and all levels of Internet, Intranet and Web portal initiatives and migrating legacy architecture to web-based platforms.
Basic Qualifications
JAVA software development, JAVA Server Page (JSP) development, - JAVA Script development
STRUTS 2 framework, JAVA Database Connectivity (JDBC), System Analysis,
UNIX, TestDirector, SQL, Excel, Word, Visio, and program analysis.
Experience in a leadership role
All employees must be able to pass a Federal Suitability Check for a position of public trust.
Desired skills
Experience with Hypernate
Experience with SSA customer
Ability to work in fast paced environment with multiple changing priorities
Experience working as a government contractor
Ability to assume new responsibilities and learn new technologies in order to deliver innovative results
Experience working with the SSA customer
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience working in a fast paced environment and have the ability to adjust to frequently changing customer requirements.
Experience working well independently
Experience in making objective decisions.
