Description:
Leidos is looking for a Senior Maximo Developer. This position is eligible to work remotely and can be located anywhere in the US.
The Maximo Enterprise Asset Management personnel is responsible for planning, testing, deploying and maintaining both existing and future Maximo EAM implementations. The ideal candidate will possess advanced technical and functional knowledge of Maximo EAM v7.X, excellent problem solving abilities, intermediate to advanced SQL skills and knowledge of software development procedures and practices.
Position
Responsibilities:
Support multiple project initiatives to design and implement enhancements to the Maximo 7.5 environment.
Effectively communicate with business process owners
Identify and analyze business needs,
Perform analysis of the existing Maximo configuration,
Identify and develop specifications for required system configuration and/or reporting changes, and Perform, test, and implement identified system updates.
Develop and review Functional Requirements, Software Requirement Specifications and Test Scripts documentation.
Develop and review Training documentation; including guides, lesson plans and tests.
Test solutions on a functional and technical level.
Recommend industry best practice solutions in software solution.
Facilitate and lead requirement gathering workshops.
Qualifications:
Required Experience/Education: A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Business MIS and 8 years of total work experience. Will accept 4 years of related technical development experience in lieu of a degree.
Must have Maximo implementation and technical support experience version 7.1 or higher experience is required.
Experience with Maximo functional design and configuration experience.
Experience developing functional design documentation.
Strong project team experience with multiple successful Maximo project implementations.
Ability to convert functional requirements into technical specifications and configure, tailor and/or customize the solutions including building interfaces.
Ability to create and update advanced technical documentation.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a project team environment
Required Certifications:
IBM Maximo certification is required for version 7.1 or higher.
