Mission 14 is a non-profit organization undertaking a history-making expedition to climb six of the worlds highest mountains in some of the most remote locations in the world. The Field Communications & IT Officer (FCITO) will have multiple responsibilities critical to ensuring the success of this extreme adventure. FCITO will be responsible for all coordination and functioning of communications capabilities critical to Mission 14's success.
Qualified candidates should possess:
Command of Portable Satellite Internet & Phone communication systems (BGAN) -set up and maintenance of systems in rugged and remote locations.
Adaptability and Flexibility to work in remote areas of the world, including traveling for two - four weeks at a time over moderate terrain
Experience with various web applications as well as producing and managing social media via Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms.
Team Mentality - An ability to work well under pressure, and alongside others, to execute mission goals.
Independence, Commitment and Accountability to ensure follow through and completion of assigned work.
Education and
Experience: Bachelor's Degree or comparable technical training preferred. Individual should have a minimum of five years experience.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
