Project Coordinator/PM (Remote-Based) Please note that candidates must reside in the greater Baltimore vicinity (or near Baltimore). POSITION WILL BE HOME-BASED (working remotely out of home). 5% travel to corporate/client sites/Baltimore office CANDIDATES MUST HAVE IBM EQUIPMENT EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED. This is a new position with a premier IBM VAR that will support 8 Sales Representatives in the local area. The Sales Team's business is concentrated in the Northeast.- Receive a Service Request. Review for complete information and move to secure technical information necessary for step 2. - Take technical information and develop a quote or statement of work. - Send to QA for review. - Receive from QA, and send to sales (and client) - Secure signed copy of SOW, create project. - Assign resources - Capture timesheets and approve - Provide Status Reports to client and manage work flow - Provide strong communications during each step to the Sales Staff and engineers. - Handle about 20-30 projects monthly. Must have:- Soft skills - Multi tasking - CRM experience - All quotes and projects are done thru CRM Alert Stratus (Field Point software) - Able to work from home. About 5% travel - IBM equipment knowledge-infrastructure - PM and or PMO knowledge - Sense of urgency and resolve - Thick skin - Fast learner - The ability to say no! NOT A PM, NOT A TECH WRITER, but a combo of Both MUST HAVE IBM Equipment experience. Hiring Manager strongly prefers Baltimore candidates for several reasons: They can meet F2F more frequently/they can travel together to customer locations/most of the work is close to Baltimore although their client base is nationwide - heavy concentration in the NE. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
