Telecommunications Engineer
Piper Companies is looking for a Telecommunications Engineer to join a consulting engineering firm located in Baltimore, MD.
The Telecommunications Engineer will develop electrical and special systems design drawings and specifications associated with power, lighting, fire alarm, and low voltage designs.
Responsibilities of the Telecommunications Engineer include:
- Create electrical and special system design drawings
- Effectively use AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office programs for projects
- Conduct calculations for power, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage designs
- Collaborate with architects and other teams/departments
Qualifications for the Telecommunications Engineer include:
- 3
years of experience - Previous experience using AutoCAD, BIM, Revit, and Microsoft Office programs
- Knowledge of forms and procedures of the engineering and construction industry
- Experience with low voltage systems (audiovisual, telecom, ethernet, etc.
) - Bachelor s Degree in Electrical Engineering OR Architectural Engineering with an Electrical Engineering concentration from ABET accredited college or university
Compensation for the Telecommunications Engineer include:
- Salary Range:
$120,000 - $150,000 depending on experience - Comprehensive Benefit Package:
