Position SummaryBrown Advisory seeks to hire a hands-on Workday Integrations Manager to technically lead and manage a team responsible for supporting and enhancing the firm s Workday ERP.
Job DescriptionBrown Advisory s Information Technology group is seeking a proactive and professional individual to serve as the Workday Integrations Manager of our Workday ERP Platform, with a primary focus upon servicing the firm s Accounting & Finance and HR business groups.
This person will be responsible for the governance, planning, and execution activities surrounding Workday Security and Integrations.
They are responsible for aligning technology and business team s strategies, systems analysis, requirements definition, systems integration, testing, and support of Workday in alignment with key business objectives.
They are responsible for ideation, design, planning, execution and delivery of technical Workday Financial Management & HCM solutions and enhancements (All System Integrations, Process Improvement, Business Analysis, Stakeholder Engagement).
They will also oversee the technology operations, including the day-to-day execution of Workday support requests and incidents.
They are responsible for maintaining cross-functional engagement within the Finance, HR and Payroll functions as well as the Technology Data Services teams.
The primary duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Manage and mentor a team of developers and analysts through Workday enhancements and production support responsibilities.
Build technical specifications, field mappings, and process designs to support workflows, integrations, and business process life-cycle.
Lead integration requirements with cross-functional teams; ability to translate functional requirements into technical specificationsWorkday Administration and Maintenance.
Create and maintain related technical documentation and business process mapping.
Assist in defining, developing and aligning the technology department s strategic roadmap with the Accounting and Finance and HR business group s development strategy.
Assist in the definition, development, integration and documentation of system business requirements, objectives, deliverables, and specifications on a project-by-project basis in collaboration with internal users and the business teams.
Maintaining knowledge of the firm s business activities and strategies in order develop solutions that efficiently address client needs.
Liaison with other Information Technology teams (Security, Infrastructure, SWAT, etc.
) to gather technical requirements, specifications and disseminate to IT for development.
Interface with users and domain experts, ensure that reporting development goals are captured in deliverables and that milestones are met, assist with resolution of production issues on an as needed basis.
Building inbound and outbound integrations using Custom Reports, EIBs, CCWs, PECI, PICOF, Studio, XSLTs, Workday Web ServicesCross-functional engagement within the Finance, HR and Payroll functions as well as Integration and Data Services teams.
Architect Workday HCM security solutions that ensure all work streams are cohesive, and that cross-functional impacts are considered and mitigated.
Configure and maintain security groups, roles, and permissions across all Workday modules and users.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) and high internal customer satisfaction levels are being met.
Manage the timely resolution of customer issues including handling customer escalations, perform and document Root Cause Analysis and implement remedial procedures to close identified gaps.
Support IT SOX Audit requests, as they relate to Workday Financials ERP System.
Work with the Help Desk, Operations Management and the Production Support Team as needed.
Troubleshoot functional issues in a complex financial environment, with various applications and architecture.
Cross-train with other team members in order to facilitate coverage on projects and to ensure that expertise is shared.
Other duties as assigned.
QualificationsThis role requires a strong blend of deep technical expertise in Workday, systems integration, and data, combined with people management responsibilities.
Prior supervisory experience is required to manage a diverse team of talent.
This is a mostly remote role, with an expectation of minimum quarterly visits to our Baltimore office.

years of Workday experience, previous experience working in support of the Accounting & Finance and HR areas preferred but not required.

years of Workday Security experience, including data domains, security groups, security roles (i.
e.
role based, user based, segmented and intersecting security roles), and security role migrations.

years of Workday Integrations configuration experience3
years of experience in Workday System Administration (i.
e.
tenant management, version releases, and regression testing).

years of experience managing Agile software development teams including software developers, systems analysts, project managers, and other technical roles.
Knowledge of GL structure and portfolio accounting.
Experience with building integrations via BoomiStrong experience with continuous improvement initiatives, architecting complex solutions, and leading production support function in tandem.
Partner certification in Workday (Active, or Expired).
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Access, especially pivot tables, reports, and charts.
Proven analytical skills, follow-up capability, and problem-solving.
Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills.
Ability to present ideas and solutions in user-friendly language.
Highly self-motivated and directed.
Keen attention to detail.
Ability to work in the Baltimore office location as needed.
