Unit HighlightsThe Short Stay/Observation Unit provides skilled nursing care for acutely ill patients placed in observation status, and acutely ill patients admitted with various diseases such as arrhythmias, chest pain, syncope, Congestive Heart Failure, and pacemakers, as well as other medical surgical conditions. The unit consist of 32 beds and average patient stay is 24-48 hours. Gain great experience in a fast-paced environment and advance your telemetry skills.New to Practice (NTP) Nurse Residency ProgramOur NTP Nurse Residency Program is part of Vizient/American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN). It is evidence-based and has demonstrated competitive retention rates of NTP Nurse Residents.This 12-month long program provides you with a series of structured learning and practice experiences designed to assist you in your transition from a new to practice to a professional nurse and clinical leader at the bedside. This transition prepares you for success as a full partner on the interdisciplinary healthcare team, providing safe and quality care to our patients Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Clinical Nurse you will deliver proficient nursing care to patients and families whose needs range from uncomplicated to highly complex.
