Job Description:
Baltimore based contractor is seeking an Administrative Assistant to assist the estimating department with all facets of the bidding process.
Job
Responsibilities:
Perform administrative tasks to support the Estimating Department consisting of 1 Chief Estimator and 5 full time Estimators Maintain various bid logs, calendars and subcontractor and vendor data bases Assist with prequalification packages Download various bidding documents Communicate directly with subcontractors, vendors, owners architects and engineers Distribute invitations to bid and perform follow up communications Job Requirements:
Excellent communication skills Strong attention to detail Ability to identify and organize various bidding documents Strong ability to work independently, multitask, prioritize and work well under pressure to meet established deadlines Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
