As we continue to expand, we seek a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Trainer to join our team in Baltimore, MD.
Position Overview:
The Production Trainer is responsible for onboarding and training all Repair Operators.
The Trainer will ensure proper safety and quality repair techniques and all local and company-wide processes and procedures.
Works closely with leadership to identify opportunities for ongoing training of existing and new processes.
Responsibilities:
Leverages existing policies and procedures to provide hands-on training for all production positions, including but not limited to pallet repair operators and forklift operators.
Guides and coaches on techniques and processes, serving as a peer leader to others.
Trains all production employees on existing and new operational processes, driving consistency in applied techniques and compliance with established policies.
Deliver best operational practices and cost efficiencies across the Plant while maintaining critical quality and raw material utilization standards necessary to maintain customer satisfaction and Plant profitability.
Ensure compliance through teamwork for all applicable Standard Operating Procedures as established in the Process Control Plan and Repair Technique.
Monitors and tracks the training plan for new production employees.
Continuously evaluates trainees' progress and delivers feedback to plant leadership, shift, and operations supervisors; Partner with Supervisors and HR to identify onboarding and training process improvements.
Maintains appropriate training certifications and remains abreast of changes to processes
Qualifications:
High School Diploma required; Associates Degree in Business or Educational training is preferred.
Proven experience working within Production, Operations, or Factory environments as an Area Trainer or equivalent Demonstrated upper-tier performance in both quality and productivity Strong interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to give adequate instruction Proven experience facilitating training in small to large groups Ability to interface with Automated Systems and training databases Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Ability to understand plant KPIs (production, quality, safety, and our processes) We Offer:
