WAREHOUSE RETAIL ASSOCIATE - $15-$18/hour, Baltimore, MD

Cashiering/AdministrationCount in and out processes completed correctly.
Professional and courteous client service on the Sales Floor, throughout the check-out process, and in all client communications.
Maintenance of accurate cashier records including FileMaker coding checks, Membership, cashier logs, and troubleshooting credit card processing issues.
Neat, clean, and organized Cashiers Stations (all) including shelves in the back and front.
Communication with Floor Staff about Sold/Hold items, daily checks on Hold/Sold binder & phone messages.
Scheduled bathroom cleaning.
Product ManagementWeekly Features preparations and sign placement.
Inventory, research, and pricing of individual donations.
Organization and maintenance of product sections.
Marketplace:
keeping an up-to-date inventory that matches what is on the sales floor, adding specialty items.
Support Floor Staff by making signs for products as needed, continued updates and warehouse walks to ensure accuracy.
Project & PlanningWeekly Meeting with Assistant Manager to discuss both ongoing projects and upcoming tasks.
Daily communication with Floor Staff about supporting projects with displays, signs, and organization.
Supervision of volunteer projects in the warehouse.
Evaluation, feedback, and improvement of current procedures, signage, and processes.
Required skills:
Strong communication skills, verbal and written; the ability to follow through detailed procedures; cash management/cashiering in retail.
Experience in the construction/building materials industry is helpful.
