CLIENT'S HOURS School Hours - Mon to Friday (8am to 4pm) Immediate Start Competitive Compensation SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY Under general supervision of a principal, the Special Education Teacher plans and implements an instructional program and provides related educational services for students.
The Teacher will carry out a variety of student monitoring and controls activities; performs related duties as required or assigned.
Continually assess student achievement and maintain appropriate assessment and evaluation documentation for instructional and individual reporting purposes.
Plan and implement appropriate instructional and/or learning strategies and activities.
Manage the behavior of learners in an instructional setting to ensure that the environment is conducive to the learning process Coordinate instructional activities with other professional staff, both school and non-school-based, as required.
Continually communicate with students on instructional expectations to keep them informed of their progress in meeting those expectations Communicate with parents through conferences and other means CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's Degree Holds a valid Maryland or out-of-state teaching license in Special Education Eligible for a Maryland teaching license in Special Education Background Check DTG ADVANTAGES Establish a relationship with one of the nation's largest referral agencies for behavioral-health Compensated weekly Increase or decrease your schedule at your discretion:
