Your Role at Raising Cane's:
The Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing all restaurant construction related activities and projects and will ensure that all Restaurants are constructed in accordance with the approved construction drawings.
This role is responsible for applying effective management techniques to the planning, design, and construction phases of a new restaurant project from inception to completion for the purpose of controlling cost, time & quality.
Your Impact and
Responsibilities:
o Reviews project documents & contracts to fully comprehend project specific scope of work o Reviews proposed master schedule (including milestone events) o Initiates communication procedures o Attends public hearings or meetings as requested o Reviews built and field conditions to advise consultants accordingly o Conducts constructability reviews o Monitors and manages general contractor's construction schedule o Visits restaurants under construction at specific milestone events to ensure compliance with schedule & quality o Review all site, building &equipment shop drawings and submittals o Prepare and monitor punch list work and score GC performance via punch list o Implements QC requirements and monitors third party testing requirements o Maintains equipment vendor & installation schedules o Tracks, reviews, and responds to general contractors & equipment vendors o Successfully completes restaurant turnover to new restaurant opening team o Evaluates general contractor resources to deliver desired results o Prepares and maintains routine project status report o Collaborates and coordinates with design team to initiate necessary document modifications o Work with Architect of Record on site to identified issues through resolution, using standard CD tools such as ASI or Field Bulletins Requirements for Success:
o 5
years Restaurant Construction related experience.
o Bachelor's degree in related field required (Construction, Architecture or Engineering) o Advance knowledge of Microsoft:
