Description As a Systems Analyst/Tester you will join our client's team in support of a modernization effort for CMS.
You will evaluate software systems to ensure adherence to company and CMS quality standards.
Will work fully remote but virtually with a team to establish and test system changes and support automation in an Agile methodology.
Responsibilities Perform all aspects of system testing, including analysis of system changes, designing, creating, and executing the test plan, test cases, regression testing, and test data/file creation of system changes Review functional and technical requirements to expose inconsistencies, lack of clarity, or lack of details Prepare systems specifications Develop and implement software/systems testing standards and procedures Document and analyze test results and make recommendations to improve overall quality and areas of automation Participate in / conduct documentation, design, and testing reviews Log and track all problems and ideas for new functionality/requirements identified during system and user testing of a release Stay abreast of relevant technologies Participate in special projects as needed RequirementsEducation:
Bachelors Degree in a Computer Science or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of related IT, software testing, or quality assurance experience Minimum of one year Mainframe systems experience Strong grasp of Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Word Skills and Abilities:
Medicare and CMS-related knowledge Excellent written and verbal communication Ability to work independently Please Note:
