Painter/Maintenance Technician
Habitat America, LLC is seeking a skilled and experienced Painter/Maintenance Technician in Baltimore, Maryland, a newly renovated senior apartment community! Linden Park Apartments in Bolton Hill is made up 266 units.
of This fast growing, property management company is largely based in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Applicants who are qualified for this position have 2
years prior apartment maintenance experience.
Primary responsibilities will include, minor drywall repair, painting, etc.
Prior experience with appliance repairs, general carpentry, basic plumbing, basic electrical work, drywall and painting is a plus but not required.
It is imperative that the Painter/Maintenance Technician be able to work independently and also as a member of a team.
Primary job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Painting Basic sheet rock repairs moldings installation/repair Perform any necessary make ready tasks to prepare vacant apartments for move-in, including repairs, cleaning and any other necessary tasks Clean out all trash from apartments before, during and after make-ready activity Light maintenance duties for work ticket matters Perform other tasks as directed This position is responsible for technical matters related to general apartment maintenance.
In addition to technical maintenance tickets, this position will assist with unit turnovers and be part of the after-hours on-call rotation.
The Painter/Maintenance Technician directly reports to the Community Manager.
Hourly wage is dependent on experience and certification.

Energetic, self-motivated individual who is able to work as a team Must have previous experience with apartment maintenance; drywall and painting experience highly desired Must be able to understand and oversee work performed by contractors Must have a pleasant and professional demeanor at all times Must have reliable transportation Requires extensive mobility and excellent physical condition Must be able and willing to work weekends and be part of an on-call rotation Recommended Skills Carpentry Electrical Installation Work Maintenance Painting Passionate Plumbing Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
