DIRECTOR - SUPPLY CHAIN INFORMATION SYSTEMS

POSITION
Summary:
The Director-Supply Chain Information Systems (SCIS) oversees and manages implementation of all system-wide Supply Chain systems including upgrades, system enhancements or interfaces.
Acts as SCIS primary point of contact and identifies appropriate Supply Chain systems technology to ensure that SCIS systems are responsive to the needs of business growth and changing organizational objectives.
Owns all reporting responsibilities to include, Birst, Crystal, Tableau and supports the operational needs of the organization associated with each.
Essential Functions:
Data Governance:
Provides support for data governance and the coordination and alignment of analytics activities supporting the strategic direction of the organization to improve data-driven decision-making through the ongoing management and improvement of the ERP systems.

Works with leadership to integrate data hygiene goals and objectives within the broader internal and external strategic goals and best practices.
Develops and recommends metrics, systems and processes to improve the value of decision support activities and efficiencies.

Leads assessment of LBH ERP data management, analysis, and opportunities for improvement.
Participates in cross-functional teams to drive the direction of LBH ERP System.
Provides leadership with recommendations for system best practice structure and capabilities.
Drives compliance with all policies governing SCIS.

Works with stakeholders across the organization to ensure data integrity and accountability through data stewards, data domains, and best practices.

Collaborates with IT and Operational areas to assist with organizational prioritization.
Analytics & Presentation:
Performs and oversees analysis and recommends appropriate analytic, statistical, and data visualization methods, resources, and tools.
Serves as a technical expert for data analytics and data visualization from the ERP system.

Utilizes to the fullest extent the reporting capabilities of the ERP system.
Presents data in an actionable format.
Governs dashboards, custom reports, scheduled reports and ad-hoc report development.
Fully utilizes report writing tools such as Crystal, Tableau, Birst to present stakeholders with information.

Builds data models and has working knowledge of predictive analytics.

Oversees the creation of Birst dashboards to track progress, outcomes, and operations.

Works across the organization to optimize and leverage enterprise technologies and tools.

Stays current with industry knowledge and advancements in analytical resources and methods and serves as a resource and advisor for analytics, statistics, and visualizations across the organization.
Team Development:
Continuously develops, builds and cross trains SCIS team members.
Focuses on operations contingencies and minimizes downtime.
Enhances customer service and coverage across all areas of SCIS.

Develops SCIS team members through in house training or ongoing education opportunities to maintain and grow current knowledge and skills.
Cross trains team for operational continuity.

Makes recommendations on automation of processes in utilization of existing systems to reduce reliance on SCIS for simple processes.

Conducts consistent team member meetings clearly communicating goals for the team and the organization.
Develops advancement plans with team members and assigns them ownership of processes where appropriate.
Customer Service:
Accepts nothing less than Excellence in customer service and develops a clear understanding of that in the SCIS team.
Builds strong handoff processes with interfacing team members in Information Services and Accounts Payables.

Ensures consistency customer service from all SCIS team members.
Drives the standard of excellence through follow-up surveys after customer calls.

Ensures positive and timely support to customers.

Conducts Customer Service Surveys aimed at understanding opportunities for improvements on a routine basis.

Promotes a positive, friendly and supportive environment for team members and customers.
Project Management:
Manages overlapping projects successfully, fully utilizing all tools and team members.
Manages daily needs as well as developing a strategic plan for the future as it relates to processes, people and systems.

Leads projects in a timely manner, meeting milestones and deadlines.
Reports out project status to leadership on routine basis.

Utilizes project management tools and involves all SCIS team members in ongoing projects.
Leads multiple overlapping projects successfully and efficiently.

Works closely with cross-functional teams from other departments in the organization.
Builds short term and long term plans aimed at improving operations.

Meets or exceeds deadlines and if at risk communicates clearly to leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor's degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field.
Bachelors degree required, Masters degree preferred.

Working knowledge of ERP systems, report writing, quantitative analysis, database administration.

Superior communication skills and experience.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
