Nursing Support/Patient Care Schedule:
Day ShiftThe Patient Care Tech / CNA will work within the Oncology Unit, a 26 bed inpatient unit that cares for medical and surgical oncology patients and dedicated to patient/family centered care.
The Patient Care Tech performs routine and specialized tasks in providing direct patient care under the functional direction of a registered nurse.
Observes, monitors, reports and documents patient's condition, symptoms, and reports to nurse as appropriate.
Assists with patient care, such as personal hygiene, special skin care, ambulation, transfer and treatment procedures, including enemas, ostomy care, oral suctioning, catheterization, bed making, and sterile dressings.
Observes and monitors vital signs.
Hours:
Full Time, 36hrs per week Day Shift, 7:
00am - 7:
30pm Requirements:
CPR certification required Maryland CNA licensure a must Important Notice:
