Night ShiftThe Johns Hopkins Hospital Baltimore, MDAcute Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Surgical ICU in the Weinberg Intensive Care Unit (WICU) Weinberg 3A which is a 20 bed adolescent/adult surgical intensive care unit.
Patient population:
Surgical Oncology ICU for gastrointestinal, endocrine, gynecologic, thoracic, plastic, otolaryngology/ head and neck, orthopedic, trauma, and urologic oncologic procedures.
This unit is grounded in teamwork as well as Patient and Family Centered Care.
The WICU has won the AACN Beacon Award and also recognized by the SCCM for the Family Centered Care Innovation Award.
The NP will manage critical post-operative surgical patients and trauma patients.
Shifts:
12-hour night shifts; weekends; some holidays (enhanced pay for working permanent nights)
Qualifications:
2 years of NP or RN work experience in IMC / ICU Master's or Doctorate Degree from MBON acute care NP program Active Maryland RN license and Acute Care NP license Active MD CDS and Federal DEA licenses Provider Enrollment, Chain and Ownership Systems (PECOS), you will need to submit an enrollment application to Medicare to be eligible for employment.
BLS CPR certification required:
