SUPPLY TECHNICIAN II

Position
Summary:
Receives and verifies receipts for supplies and equipment delivered to the facility loading dock.
Performs supply inventories utilizing an electronic handheld device, creating supply orders in low unit measure for specific patient areas.
Essential Functions:
Level of Supervision Required:
Work is reviewed daily Receipt of Products Receives incoming supplies and equipment, comparing contents of Packing Slip and Purchase Order information.
Tasks:
Using packing slip information enters information system to create delivery ticket information.
Inspects contents of order for discrepancies with UOM and/or product, notifying buyer as necessary.
Stages supply orders and /or packages for delivery, attaching delivery ticket information as needed.
Deliveries packages as indicated on delivery ticket, obtaining signature on delivery ticket, later attaching to Packing Slip to file.
Restocks Par Carts Distributes supplies to the par carts, placing each item in a specific bin location.
Tasks:
Breakdown pallets delivered by primary vendor, auditoring for accuracy.
Removes products from cartons, affixing patient charge label as required.
Distributes product to patient unit par carts, organizing carts as performed within 4 hours, and no later than 5 hours following arrival to work.
Performs physical inventory of par cart using an electronic hand-held device to store information, downloading and sending to Purchasing by the agreed upon time.
Maintains Warehouse Keeps warehouse secure and organized, and equipment in good working condition.
Tasks:
Sweeps warehouse daily, removing empty pallets and card boxes as needed.
Routinely tests pallet jack, loading dock bay doors to verifying proper operation.
Education Requirements:
High School diploma/GED equivalent Recommended Skills Information Systems Mobile Device Management Packaging And Processing Duties Purchasing Process Stock Control Palletizing Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
