Security Systems Technician, CCTV, Access Control
PROFILEWe are actively searching for an Security Systems Technician.
Do you have networking and computer skills experience with the desire to work in the commercial security, video surveillance, access control and other commercial/ industrial low voltage systems field? If so, this may be the perfect role for you.
Duties/
Responsibilities:
Install conduit, cabling supports and pathways for indoor and outdoor rated wiring and cabling systems Install, terminate, and test security system wiring and data cabling Mount security panels, hardware and devices to surfaces and rack spaces in a clean and professional manner Supporting the foreman with loading equipment Checking equipment inventory Required Skill/Abilities:
Experience implementing local area networks to include wireless technology using multi-operating systems and platforms.
Network and computer trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills required, including knowledge of networking, theory, principles and practices.
Specific knowledge of TCP/IP and Windows Server.
Mechanical ability to work with locks and mechanical devices.
Knowledge of telecommunications systems is helpful.
Education and Experience High school diploma required and/or trade school is a plus 1-2 years of related industry experience is a plus Valid drivers license Able to obtain Maryland and Virginia security technician license as required.
