This OpportunityWSP is currently initiating a search for a Natural Resources Management/Environmental Team Lead for our Baltimore, MD office.

We are looking for someone to lead our Baltimore area Natural Resources & Permitting team in project delivery, management of environmental resources permitting, mitigation and compliance projects, and business development to support our growing organization while meeting our client's objectives and solving their challenges.
Your ImpactWe are seeking qualified and self-motivated candidates to lead and grow our thriving team, while providing leadership, management, a team-oriented environment and mentorship to:
Lead the Baltimore Natural Resources & Permitting team in project development and delivery, technical proposals, task proposals including written scopes and cost estimating, project management, client relations, senior reviews and QA/QC, team development and training.
Perform client relationship advancement and business development to continue delivery of business prosperity and growth objectives.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with a variety of clients, teaming partners and WSP internal staff.
Coordinate, guide, and oversee other team members and consultants.
Conduct environmental permitting for public and private sector development projects including ecological restoration, renewable energy, renewable energy infrastructrue, transportation, infrastructure and land development projects.
Collect, analyze, and interpret data from multidisciplinary teams.
Prepare and review technical reports and analyses, compile permit applications and appendices for submissions, including conceptual mitigation.
Identify and negotiate suitable natural resources assessments, permitting timelines and compensatory mitigation for projects and clients.
Commit to timely completion of high quality work.
Remain current in latest environmental science subject matter and techniques.
Coordinate with private entities and local, state, and federal agencies.
Maintain existing clients while expanding natural resources services to new clients.
Mentor staff.
Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct, and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct, safety and related policies and procedures Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
Who You AreRequired Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Natural Resources, Wildlife, Biology, or a related field; M.

years of experience in environmental permitting and licensing projects.
Ability to communicate effectively and work in a collaborative team environment.
Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP'S health, safety, and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage complex multi-disciplinary multi-year projects.
Expertise in developing and maintaining positive client and agency relationships.
Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
Experience with leading and supervision of a team.
Preferred Qualifications Recent successful Business Development experience identifying opportunities with existing clients and expanding natural resources services to new clients.
Experience in the Power and Energy sector performing and managing renewables and transmission projects.
Client relations account management with key existing or new clients with natural resources permitting service needs.
Lead major pursuits.
Recent experience managing complex environmental permitting, mitigation, restoration and compliance projects.
Experience with environmental permitting and compliance in Maryland and other mid-Atlantic states, including VA, DE, and Washington DC.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
