$2,500 Sign-On-BonusProvides quality patient care by performing as an expert practitioner, educator, and consultant.
Manages clinical activities, including case management, discharge, and patient education.
May establish administrative policies and procedures for clinical practice.
Supervises clinical support staff including CMA's, LPN's and RN's.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's Degree, or diploma in Nursing from an Accredited institution Current Maryland licensure or eligibility to obtain Maryland licensure Excellent customer service and communication skills At least 3-5 years of clinical experience Previous supervisory and management experience is a plus ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Works cooperatively within own department and with other services to create a system of quality health care delivery.
Maintains current knowledge in area(s) of clinical supervision.
Supervises and provides direct patient care in accordance with accepted clinical standards while utilizing the department process.
Manages department(s) and other satellite locations with consideration for safety.
Participates in, and provides leadership for, development of policies-department of nursing and unit specific.
Determines staffing requirements and communicates those as appropriate.
Interviews and hires all personnel in department(s).
Recommended Skills Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (Acls) Primary Care Intensive Care Unit Critical Care Nursing Process Patient Safety Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
