Doula - Postpartum - Per-diem - EveningsAt New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, Doulas have created a supportive, compassionate environment for all phases of ante- through post-partum care.

Mothers and babies start their journey here with expert nurses at their side and the finest resources at their command.
Doulas would be responsible to provide emotional and physical support to the patient/ family in all the stages of their labor, birth/postpartum process.
The doula will work closely with the birthing team (midwives, nurses and physicians to provide safe, high quality and culturally sensitive care to all patients giving birth at NYPBMH.

This is a per-diem position evening shift position (3:
30PM-Midnight) at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.
Preferred Criteria 1
years in childbirth education, labor support, or breastfeeding education and support DONA International certification or obtain within six months from hire Certified Lactation Counselor certification Required Criteria High School Diploma or GED Doula certification from an accredited Doula training program Basic computer literacy Excellent customer service skills AJoin a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
