Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Responsible for achieving positive affirmation for their open trade population, with priority applied based on age and risk weightings.
Chasing institutional clients to return executed client confirmations or match our trades on electronic platforms.
Review all client returned trade confirmations, follow up where necessary with the appropriate internal operational groups, and action all confirmations accordingly.
Serve as a conduit between the client and Sales to ensure that all trade discrepancies and client issues are resolved in a timely manner.
Provide client support and product guidance around industry initiatives.
Follow all documented and reviewed risk controls and escalation procedures to minimize risk to the Firm.
Devise and employ new technology to capitalize Straight Through Processing, speed and accuracy of systems and procedures.
Communicate in small functional teams and larger group teams to complete daily tasks, share market and systems knowledge, protect client confidentiality, and preserve and grow strong trading relationships with clients.
DCP is structured geographically with each team supporting a wide range of products and markets for the Derivatives.
DCP will focus primarily on clients (Hedge Funds, Investment Managers, Central Banks, Corporates, etc.
) trading derivatives globally, and will need to coordinate with a number of different Infrastructure groups for execution, confirmation, and discrepancy resolution.
Skills Required:
Bachelor s DegreeSuperior aptitude to understand, utilize, and improve technology platforms.
Strong interpersonal, organization, leadership, and communication skillsProven ability to work efficient and accurately under pressure in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment.
Knowledge of fixed income and financial markets preferred.
Operations interestProcess management experience preferred.
Ability to multitask and prioritize.
Ability to work under pressure.
Ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to coordinate across multiple internal and external clients to achieve resultsProficiency with business software and common applicationsEager to learn and ask questions.
Positive attitude and team playerIntermediate Excel experienceDerivatives experience preferred.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
