The Surgical Technician is an integral part of our Mercy OR team delivering excellent surgical care to our patients.
They possess the skills and knowledge to maintain a sterile field and back table while assisting our surgeons in a variety of surgical procedures.
Surgical Technicians anticipate and prepare their supplies and instruments for each patient in order to make the procedure as smooth safe and efficient as possible.
In order to celebrate and maintain our high quality of care, we are looking for Surgical Technicians who have acquired and maintain an active certification either through AST or NCCT.
Requirements:
Must possess a high school diploma or GED Graduation from a Surgical Technology Program or previous ST experience Prefer 2-3 years Surgical Technology experience Certification from AST or NCCT CPR Mercy Health Services is sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy.
