- Safely operate a vehicle to transport spcimens to designated locations - Plan and execute efficient routes to ensure timely delivery - Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition - Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or delays - Communicate with dispatchers and customers to provide updates on delivery status - Follow company policies and procedures regarding safety protocols and equipment usage
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Familiarity with medical material transport safety procedures - Strong attention to detail and time management skills - Ability to work independently and make decisions on the road - Excellent communication skills for interacting with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers Note:
This position may require being exposed to various weather conditions.
Flexibility in working hours may be required based on delivery schedules.
