Job Functions Leading incoming components inspection Handing-over of components between Supplier and the Manufacturer (Acting on behalf of Customer) Work coordination for inspections Quality inspection Erection and testing quality documentation Supporting resolution of Foundation Manufacturer NCRs that are raised, reporting it at the customer system Issuing Daily Progress Reports (DPR) on the works executed by Supplier's and Customer's team Interfacing with customer for quality activities.
Make a first filter of NCR issues with the Manufacturing Quality team in the plant and getting the right information, while ensuring support from customer Technical team.
Follow-up main NCR indicators.
Be part of Task Forces launched to deliver parts on quality before manufacturing, dealing with supplier NCRs or suppliers assigned.
Support rework/repair activities.
Audit storage conditions for Free Issue materials and report out any deviations.
Be aware of planning and inspect free issue material once they are installed, ensure preservation is properly done, and report out any deviations.
To provide weekly reports, lead daily meetings and ensure containment timely to customer projects, Manufacturer production, or assigned missions.
Qualifications University degree in Engineering 5 to 8 years of related work experience in a manufacturing environment (Aerospace, Automotive, Power Generation preferred) Experience navigating ASQ Certified Quality Engineer certification an asset.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and math data including geometric dimensioning and tolerance.
Ability to conduct in-depth analysis resulting in development and execution of action plans for improvement Proficient with RED X or similar root causing tools, SPC, Six Sigma techniques, Lean Manufacturing, PFMEA and DOE.
Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal and analytical abilities Sound computer skills.
Knowledge of SAP and MS Office required Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced team environment Want to build something that will last long after we have moved on beyond our working years.
