9 Quick Apply Full-time Part-time 4 hours ago Full Job Description Under the general direction of the Operations Manager, this is an on-site leadership function charged with providing oversight of security operations and leadership to security supervisors assigned to the security program.
The Lead Officer duties may include, but are not limited to:
Operational
Responsibilities:
Provides oversight of the day to day operations of the security program.
Provides guidance to uniformed personnel to include officers and team leads.
Build, improve and maintain relationships with both external customers (clients) and internal customers (employees) Liaison with key corporate support staff, along with key client personnel while conducting job duties in accordance with the performance requirements of contract.
Coordinate needed support services to effectively run the account to meet or exceed financial and operational goals and provide quality customer service.
Advises management and support staff on operational policies, procedures and processes.
Keep records and prepare accurate and timely reports both manually and through automated methods.
Reports include, but are not limited to daily activity logs, shift reports, incident/accident reports, etc.
Possess and maintain superior working knowledge of industry-related contract security practices/employment laws to support security operations Enforce Employee Handbook and related policies and procedures Direct oversight of large scale special events hosted at client site Administrative
Responsibilities:
Maintains sound and effective labor relations with company employees, Corporate Support staff and Senior Management.
Develops, manages, and maintains all services necessary to meet all local and national regulatory requirements, inclusive of applicable health and safety requirements Generates disciplinary actions for employee violations Submission of reviewed weekly operating schedule and timesheets to payroll department Coordinates processing of termination / resignation packages upon employee departure Interviews and recommends external candidates for employment and capacity Coordinates with support functions for effective management of operations General Duties:
Fulfill weekly, monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc objectives as set by Director of Operations Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive information and data.
Maintain punctuality and regular attendance to avoid disruption of operations Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.
MINIMUM
Qualifications:
Candidate shall have at least five (5) years of management experience in the security industry, preferably managing security operations within an educational facility.
Candidate must have extensive, verifiable, physical security-related managerial experience; preferably supervising a midsize workforce in a 24/7 operation.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain Post Orders, along with policies and procedures, that impact business results Excellent verbal and written communication skills (writing sample may be required) Ability to function as a single, On-Site Manager with corporate support, but minimal supervision Ability to work a flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends and holidays as requested or required.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite to include MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook also required Position requires a personable individual who is capable of professionally relating to individuals at all levels and from all backgrounds.
Ability to learn multiple systems and processes in a brief period, and demonstrate productivity Ability to follow directions and perform multiple tasks under pressure; Tasks must be performed effectively, simultaneously, under strict deadlines and in a courteous and professional manner.
Must possess reliable transportation to commute to job site, perform field work and ad-hoc regional job-related travel, as deemed necessary.
