7 Part-time 1 hour ago Full Job Description THIS IS A NON-CIVIL SERVICE POSITION Qualified individuals should have excellent skills and strong experience in one or more of the following areas:
Responsible for operating and driving the Zamboni ice resurfacing machine, edge conditioning, and other motorized equipment.
Maintain accurate records of ice cuts, blade changes, and preventative maintenance.
Performs custodial work in offices and building interior/exterior to include sweeping, mopping, waxing and polishing floors using industrial vacuum cleaners, and scrubbing and buffing machines.
Event set-ups and breakdowns.
Communicate regularly with maintenance staff about repair and maintenance needs on all equipment and assigned jobs.
Relate to the public and to customers in a professional, courteous, and respectful manner, appropriately responding to complaints.
Occasionally using ladders to wash windows.
Assist with sweep outdoors and removing snow or perform other incidental seasonal tasks.
Ability to learn to drive large equipment.
MINIMUM
Qualifications:
On or before the date of filing the application, successful candidates should possess the following:
Willing to work as a team player Excellent Customer Service skills Able to lift 25 lbs without any limitations Knowledge working with facility equipment.
Must be able to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays COMPENSATION:
This is a part-time non-civil service position with a salary of $16 -$18 per hour This position will remain open until filled.
